The kid and his mom belong to an alien race with nubs on their heads. Both have huge pupils, though the mom's pupils cover her entire eyes. The kid has the ability to point like no other. He's the only customer to pay attention to all of the happenings with Zim at Shloogorgh's.

It appears that the alien kid is in the logo for the Resisty. Also, one of their species worked on Vort as a scientist in th cancelled episode The Trial.
