One of the tasks for the training on Hobo 13 involves completing a maze while avoiding a flying creature. The creature is basically a head with tentacles gliding through the air. It looks biomechanical, though it may not be organic at all. When Zim's team navigated through the maze, Zim tossed up team member Nub Bubbins into the jaw of the maze creature in order to save himself.
